We’re big fans of sleep in our house. It pretty much goes without saying that when we all get a good night’s sleep, it makes our daily lives more pleasant and manageable. While no particular product is a magic bullet for sleep or sleep quality, we’ve found some that have been truly helpful. Below is a list of our baby and toddler sleep favorites.

1. HALO BassiNest Swivel Bassinet. Both of my daughters spent a good amount of time sleeping in this bassinet after they were born. This bassinet has so many great features including mesh sides, a folding rail and a 360 degree rotation. I opted for the base model as we didn’t need any of the features of the higher-priced models. I used this mattress pad and this fitted sheet.
2. Infant Optics Baby Monitor. While I originally thought I wanted a baby monitor that could be viewed via an app on my phone, I’m glad I went with a freestanding unit like this one because I can keep an eye on the monitor while still having my phone free for use. I also like that it doesn’t connect to the Internet/Wi-Fi so it’s more secure. Other features include: interchangeable lenses, camera pan/tilt/zoom and room temperature reading.
3. Newton Baby Crib Mattress. I love the peace of mind this mattress gave us when our girls slept on their stomachs as babies. Now at ages 4 and 2, they’re still using the same mattress and sleeping very well.
4. Jellycat Bunny. Both of my girls love their Jellycats and sleep with them every single night.

5. Hatch Rest Baby Sound Machine & Night Light. As a night light, it has a wide variety of color selections and as a sound machine, it has several different sounds to choose from. I particularly love how easy it is to control everything on the app. (When we’re traveling, we like to use this portable sound machine).
6. Graco Pack & Play. A great portable option for sleeping or playing at home or on the go.
7. Warm Moisture Humidifier. We use this humidifier a lot in the colder months or if someone is feeling under the weather.
8. Sposie Booster Pads. These diaper inserts are an absolute game changer. We’ve been leak-free overnight ever since we started using them.
9. Baby Swaddle Blanket Wrap. I loved using wrap this in the newborn phase. The velcro made swaddling super quick and easy.

10. The Ollie Swaddle. I love the breathability of the fabric and how well it stays in place. Also, just like the above swaddle, velcro for the win!
11. HALO Sleepsack. I got a ton of use out of HALO sleepsacks. I like the fleece material for colder months and cotton for warmer ones.
12. Babyletto Gelato 4-in-1 Convertible Crib with Toddler Bed Conversion. Both of our girls have this crib. Etta, age 2, is using it as a crib and Lake, age 4, is using it as the convertible toddler bed. We will eventually upgrade Lake to a twin bed, but in the meantime, it’s worked out perfectly. We use these fitted sheets.
13. Toddler Pillow. This pillow is the perfect size for toddlers and travels great. too.
14. Plush Blanket. This blanket is so incredibly soft and warm. I wish it came in my size!
**A few other items we use are a ceiling fan (more often in the warmer months), blackout blinds (the darker the room the better, especially for daytime naps) and books! – We love reading a few bedtime stories to wind down right before bed. (Click HERE to see some of our favorites).
