A random fact about me is that I don’t like coffee. There’s been a handful of times where I try to “get into it” but for whatever reason I can’t. I do, however, love tea. Specifically, brewed hot tea and iced matcha lattes. Those are two of my favorite beverages and it’s rare that a day goes by where I don’t consume one or both. Below are some of my favorite teas and tea accessories.
1. Tea Filter Bags For Loose Tea | When I don’t use my Tea Infuser (Item #4), I use these tea filter bags to create custom blends. (My most made blend is green tea and peppermint). I appreciate the ease of use, portability, and how there’s no odd taste that I’ve gotten in the past when I used stainless steel infusers.
2. Ceremonial Grade Matcha Green Tea Powder | I’m selective when it comes to matcha and this one is excellent for my beloved iced matcha lattes. (I’m making a note to write a blog post sharing my iced matcha latte recipe and everything I use).
3. Stainless Steel Tea Scoop | I use this handy tea scoop to measure out loose leaf tea. I keep one at home and one at work.
4. Tea Infuser | This two-cup tea steeper makes brewing loose leaf tea(s) a breeze. It’s easy to clean and BPA-Free.
5. Tea Bag Storage Organizer | I have a couple of these flip-top organizers to store my packaged/boxed tea bags. It’s really nice to not have a cabinet full of tea boxes anymore!
6. Arbor Teas | I purchase the majority of my loose leaf teas here. All of their teas are certified organic, fair trade and have compostable packaging. Some of my most purchased are: Gyokuro Green Tea, Silver Needle White Tea, Peppermint and Dandelion Root.
7. Yeti Rambler Travel Mug | This is my go-to tea tumbler when I’m on the go. If you prefer one without a handle, this one works great as well.
I also want to add that a friend of mine gifted me a monthly tea subscription from Atlas Tea this past Christmas and I’m loving it! (Thanks again, Lis – Such a thoughtful gift!) She got me the ‘Variety’ subscription that includes two premium loose leaf teas (30+ cups of tea) and is a curation of world’s best teas and blends.
