Today I’m sharing some of my favorite photos from 2020!
When I was narrowing down photos for this post, I very quickly realized they were (basically) all of Lake. Am I surprised? Definitely not. Ever since she was born I’ve absolutely loved taking photos of her whether it’s on my iPhone around the house or with my “big camera” at a fun outdoor location. I love that the photos provide memories of and for her as well as the opportunity for me to practice my hobby photography skills.
Due to the pandemic, we didn’t do a whole lot in 2020. We got in a trip to Arizona in right before COVID-19 really hit and then, like everyone else, just made the most of what we could for the rest of the year. We were definitely grateful for any of the outdoor activities we got to do this year.
I’m excited to share more photos in 2021. As always, thank you sooo much for reading!
I don’t know why but I think this photo is so darn cute. I just love that winter hat on her!
I think some of the most fun and memorable photos can be taken with your phone in poor lighting.
This photo (taken on our trip to Arizona) is so funny to me because it’s like she knew exactly how to pose for it!
Shocked that she made “the front page” of dad’s phone!
Rockin’ the shades!
Lake’s 1 year birthday shoot photos turned out so well thanks to Aly!
Aly also took a bunch of family photos at Lake’s 1 year birthday shoot. We will definitely cherish these forever!
I think this is my favorite photo from 2020. I took it at a pond near the Clive Aquatic Center/Walnut Creek in May.
This photo cracks me up so much!
A little Fourth of July photoshoot in our backyard.
A couple of photos from a fun little baseball shoot we did in the summer. Reppin’ dad’s favorite team!
Lake got a little tour of mom and dad’s alma mater.
This girl LOVES being in and playing with water.
Fun times at the pumpkin patch!
Lake the Lamb for Halloween!
Loves playing in the snow and having snowball fights with dad.
She still loves being in her bouncer…but now uses it as a chair, haha!
And finally, I can’t forget about this handsome guy. Kevin goes to daycamp once a week at Dogwoods Lodge and they take a “Christmas portrait” of all of the dogs every year.
Cheers to 2021!
